By installing an overflow valve, remote adjustment of the plunger pump’s outlet pressure is achieved. This pressure control device ensures that the plunger pump delivers full flow when the outlet pressure is below the pressure setting of the control valve; once the set pressure is reached, the plunger pump’s outlet pressure stabilizes within the set pressure range, and the pump’s output flow reduces to meet only leakage and actuator demand flow, thereby maintaining constant pressure. The recommended pressure setting range is 0.5–35 MPa, with a standard setting of 35 MPa.
