By using this pressure control device in conjunction with an external throttle valve, infinitely variable adjustment of the plunger pump’s output flow rate can be achieved by changing the opening of the throttle valve, irrespective of the load magnitude; the response speed can be adjusted by varying the standby pressure setting of the load-sensing valve.
