With this pressure control device, the plunger pump delivers full flow when the pressure is below the relief valve’s set point; once the set point is reached, the pump’s outlet pressure stabilizes within the set pressure range, and the pump’s flow output reduces to meet only leakage and actuator demand, thereby maintaining constant pressure. The recommended pressure setting range is 0.5–35 MPa, with a standard setting of 35 MPa.
